LOCAL HYDROPONIC FARM NEAR ERIE, PA
Mo's Grows is a family-owned and operated hydroponic farm co-owned by Mohamed "Mo" Almorsy and Alivia Haibach. Mo is an immigrant whose passion for fresh healthy food, combined with his engineering background, drove him toward the high-efficiency, low-impact, sustainable, affordable, and accessible agriculture model of hydroponic growing.
Alivia grew up in the Erie region but it took marrying someone from the other side of the globe to recognize the opportunities in her own backyard. Alivia works in public health and strongly believes that equitable access to healthy food (food security) is one of the keys to improved lifelong health outcomes.
After living overseas, Mo and Alivia moved to Northwestern PA to be near family. Inspired by the numerous farms in the region, Mo decided to start an agricultural venture that could provide farm-fresh produce 365 days a year.
