Our produce is free of pesticides — including insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, and rodenticides — and their detrimental effects over time. These toxic chemicals have been implicated in a host of health issues affecting nearly every system of the human body — by growing in a controlled indoor environment, we avoid using them and you avoid consuming them! 

FEWER MILES TRAVELED

Our produce is grown just across the Pennsylvania border in Ripley, NY. The stuff in the grocery store may have very well been trucked across the country. That means if you live in nearby Erie and use Mo's Grows hydroponic herbs and greens or tomatoes and peppers, you're getting them at their best. Our items are harvested exactly when they're ready, not days or weeks before — that's the beauty of buying local!

At Mo's Grows, we believe that everyone should have access to clean and healthy eating year-round — whether that's through joining in community-supported agriculture, a local farmer's market, or farm to table dining at your favorite locally owned and operated restaurant. 

INVESTED OWNERS

After spending time living and visiting abroad, we could no longer ignore the opportunity awaiting us in our own backyard. One of us made our home in Erie; the other rediscovered theirs — but regardless of how each of us got here, we're both here to get it better. Combining an engineering background and public health background, we're fully invested in our hydroponic growing operation from a systems side and a human side.
